MARTYR

My friend who teaches in an elementary school told me that he didnt like the school. The students are all idlers and they tend not to respect the teachers. Most teachers seemingly dont have dedication. They never teach the students seriously. Often, they play truant. Teachers are also not fair when its time for the students to have final examination. Teachers give some answers of the final examination question to the students. Of course, all of them pass the exam although, actually, the students dont own competence.
My friend hopes he never teaches a school like it. But thats the fact he cant avoid. He can only undergo it and wish this would be over soon. After listening to his gripe, I asked him why he didnt try to finish it. He said it was hard or even impossible.
I remember a story about an armed military unit who couldnt defeat their enemy because they were shielded with a strong fort. The only way to enter the port was a wide door which was locked. If they wanted to enter the fort, they must unlock the door. Something impossible. But then a man got ahead and he was willing to sacrifice himself for the unlocked door. And the door was opened as the man died with hundreds of arrow wounds.
Sometimes we have to sacrifice ourselves for the right thing. No matter how many times will be spent.
